Plugs 'n Paddles Trips
Join the Nevada Anglers, Sin City Paddlers, and the Las Vegas Canoe Club for our fifth Plugs n Paddles weekend. We will be camping, canoeing , hiking, and fishing, in Echo Canyon State Park and Spring Valley State Park in Lincoln County, Nevada.
A great family-friendly trip for novices and pro's alike. Enjoy the beautiful scenery of central Nevada during our latest in a series of trips that combine great paddling weekends on some of the fantastic fishing waters that our state has to offer.
We will camp at Echo Canyon Reservoir and take a day trip to Eagle Valley Reservoir just minutes away from each other. There are motel and trailer accomodations just minutes away at Pat and John's Eagle Valley Resort, as well as a full bar, general store and some karaoke fun too!
Both lakes offer our canoe club members a peaceful scenic paddle that is easy enough for beginners to get used to the water, and enough room to give our more experienced members a good time too.
The fishing is phenominal this time of year with limits of hungry Crappie, Largemouth Bass, Brown Trout, Tiger Trout, and Rainbow Trout, eager to take a lure or bait. Jumbo sized fish have been caught this year along with records for Brown Trout and Largemouth Bass.
Canoe Rentals are available and Fishing Classes are free that weekend.
